How to update SlipTrac+

From the users perspective updates are not something one needs to worry about.  SlipTrac+ is a hosted system and updates are managed automatically.  If there is a version difference and one is looking for a new feature, an update request can simply be requested and it will be taking care of by the SlipTrac+ support team. 

Supported Operating Systems

The SlipTrac+ system works with three different operating systems depending on the application your are referencing.  The Host Maintenance and Reporting programs run on Windows based Servers.  The PayTrac is Android based, and the PayTracBSP, Passport and Wallet Apps are both Android and iOS based applications.

Can I use my mobile phone

Absolutely you can.  Both the Passport and Wallet Applications are available for Android Smartphones version 5.1 and greater, as well as iOS based smartphones version 6.0 and greater.  So compatibility should not be an issue.

Do I need to change my current dispatch system?

No.  The Pay4MyRide SlipTrac+ system is designed to integrate or work in parallel with any dispatch system.

Do I need to register

If you choose to run a tab or charge account with your Taxi Company of choice, then yes you would need to register.  Credit limits are determined by the Transportation company at their discretion.  For use of the Passport application, registration is handled automatically when your virtual pass is issued to you.  Wallet users are different as they are not usually corporate related so basic registration with a mobile phone number and email address is all that is required. 

Do you have Training Guides

Yes!  The applications are very intuitive, and users of the host applications may access the on-line help guides and videos directly through the programs themselves, and users of the mobile applications have direct access to training videos directly through the apps themselves.

Do my guests need to register to use your program?

Typically no.  If you are a corporation hosting a special function and would like to offer transportation services to your guests, your can provide them with a boarding pass through via sms text message or email, or if you are trying to arrange transportation for several guests, you can use the simple import guest feature which only utilizes their mobile phone number for issuance of the travel pass. 

Do my customers or guests have to install your mobile app to use your travel passes?

If they are a frequent user of said transportation services, it might make sense to have them load the mobile application for ease of use, however, it is not necessary.  Once a passenger receives a promotional invitation or boarding pass, they can simply opt to open and apply the pass for payment through our on-line web-based passport module. 

How do your Gift Cards work?

Quite simple, your order for gift cards can be placed directly with your transportation company who can immediately process your purchase, generate your virtual card which is then immediately available for use through the Pay4MyRide Wallet.  

How do I redeem my earned Loyalty Points?

This can be achieved directly through the Pay4MyRide Wallet.  The user simply selects the Redeem Loyalty Points Menu option, and follows the instructions to apply points towards the purchase of a Gift Card, which can then be used at anytime towards payment for transportation services.

Do the Gift Cards have an expiration period?

No, they do not.

What fees are charged for using the virtual Gift Cards

No fees are charged at any time for using virtual Gift Cards, only the transportation costs themselves.

Can I get cash back during my transaction?

No, there is not a cash back feature available.
